Tomorrow I'll give a big sigh relief because I'll finally own a 360 again, one of the new Slim models. I'll be able to finally finish Splinter Cell: Conviction, which I had to shelf upon selling my Elite model console in June. Will probably buy Dead Rising 2: Case Zero and then have a marathon run through of the Condemned games after that.
It comes with a 2nd gamepad and copy of the new Halo game though. So I've had to wait until that game's release, bah.
Xbox Live is free next weekend, so why the hell not run through the campaign via online co-op of Halo: Reach? It's a fully blown sequel from the sounds of it and not an over-priced expansion pack like what H3: ADHD was. Anyway this will be the first Halo that I'll be bothering with since the largely craptacular Halo 3. This game vaguely promising, I've read that they've tried to take it back to its roots by making it more like 2001's Halo 1 - aka the only great game in the series thus far. Naturally expectations will be incredible low going in.

I'm not entirely sure you'll enjoy reach

"Hallo Leech"? Seriously? Are you retarded?

The original was pretty great. Halo 2 though, ended up being the over hyped game I'd ever played. It was good, sure, but not as good as the first. Its saving grace was multiplayer, but considering I was playing multiplayer games on the PC it didn't have as huge an impact on me as others.
Skip to Halo 3. "Finish the fight blah blah bah, greatest game ever". I was excited. Finally, we get to see some all out warfare in a Halo game. Except not. It was the same fucking Halo. OK graphics, blocky set pieces, same exact gameplay, poor excuse for a story. Oh, but now they have bubble shields.
As such, I didn't bother with ODST and I don't give a damn about Reach. Every gaming site has been going apeshit though, and half the people I know can't stop masturbating over videos of Reach long enough to tell me why they care.

Well, same reason we(some of us/all of us) sit here masturbating in a forum about lg studio games while the rest of the world probably won't understand or care as to why.

Reach is the Prequel to Halo 1. So not really.

Don't be pedantic, you know what I meant. It's a full game packed a lot of new content, game features, etc. - rather than an over-priced or glorified expansion pack like what ODST was.
