J'ai une question DrK:
Où vas-tu chercher toutes ces polices? Elles seraient parfaites pour mes missions... :cheeky:

Finnished this Fm also with 8 Bags of food & water supplies. :D
I love the textures used in this mission.

What a great way of getting back to playing Thief again! :)
Suspenseful atmosphere - especially at the start, where I could only hear the enemy. This mission had me on my toes from start to end. I must say I liked the ending, even though I knew something bad was going to happen seeing that long tunnel.
I had a lot of sneaky fun and a bit of climbing with this one. :)

Intriguing mission... rather high on the tension level, but plenty of shadows, so I wasn't scared (cardia1's T2 combat training program has turned my Garrett into a Warrior Thief.... though the invisible monster thing was concerning me early on... invisible enemies... AH!!!
Anyway, excellent mission. I had about 7 bags of goods and 1600 or something loot before heading out the docks. That caused a shock to me though.
I went back in and used the walkthrough map to find the two easter eggs and two or three of the remaining bags.
Those dark grenades were sure helpful too, allowed me to find all but 65 of the remaining loot - I dromeded to find the two bits. - screw loot lists Finally I can have both T2 and Dromed open at the same time. Finding those last few pesky pieces is much easier now. Luckily, I rarely miss more than a small fraction in most missions nowadays.
Btw, what is this? The Halloween, Reloaded, New Dark Contest. So far I've played this one and that one by Darthslair and both were based on old maps. It's cool though. Very interesting to see these locations redecorated and repurposed.

Thanks Iceblade. :)
The mission was for the halloween contest, nothing else.
Thing is, the rules of the contest allowed to use FMs and OMs as a base, and thanks to this rule I was able to be part of the contest, simply because I didn't have enough time to do a mission from scratch. So I took one of my earlier missions, Greenbay, but still spent way too much time changing it.
And then, NewDark came out of nowhere, but it's something different. It wasn't part of the rules simply because the contest started a couple month before NewDark got released. Yet some people used its features. Personally, I did my best to keep working with the "OldDark". A Better Tomorrow is compatible with the classic thief game we all knew for the past decade.

Hey DrK,
the moment I saw you made something for a Halloween contest I could only think: "Oh my god, my poor heart..."
I love your Rocksbourg missions, so I've immediately downloaded this and started playing it. Now I'm just a few minutes in and already scared shitless.
I can't wait to see the rest of this! I'm going to continue now... I was just so amazed and taken in by the atmosphere so far that I felt I had to post that here before I go on.
So, yeah, keep up the amazing work! ;)
Also, I'm actually glad you didn't use NewDark! Not because I consider "OldDark" holy or something, but simply because I love to play Thief 2 Multiplayer with a friend. We've been doing that for years now, the missions we already completed together are countless... and we love to play scary missions together! So I'm totally looking forward to playing this with him. :D
