Not really the right season of the year to play this mission, but hey why not.
Alas this was my last OldDark mission, as I got corrupted by the glory of NewDark soon after.
Considering there are random spawns and random patrols, plus weird behaviors from the AIs, I wonder if coop is still scary.

It's damn scary!!! Random spawns and patrols just add up to that feeling! And the sounds are brilliant. Even in the shadows I never felt at ease.

I'm catching up with a lot of missions -- AAHHHH! :eek: This one was so scary that I had to force myself to go on. It wasn't so bad (who am I kidding?) after I got out of the sewers when you could actually see what you were running from. I got the Taffer Award though. Plus 1700 loot too (playing on Expert). Not for being smart, just being too scared to get on the ground (I did in the end :p)
I have a question about the textures though -- I have the Enhanced Texture Package: is that why some of the textures were in color? I mean, are they all supposed to be in B&W? It didn't affect the gameplay. Some of the loot was just easier to find :D
But again, this was one scary mission. Not for the fainthearted or anti-zombie players (you know what I mean).

Yup, you're not supposed to play the mission using any kind of graphical pack. All the textures are in B&W normally, except the skybox.

well i have been playing DrK's mission, all i can say is that it's one of the best creepy mission from Drk i ever played in thief also this goes to Rocksbourg series too, it remind me a lot of silent hill and using psychological horror instead of just adding some jump scare.it's a bit of late saying that but well done!

That was a great experience. Maybe more FMs of this type in the future?
The zombies(or what they are supposed to be) gave me some Kernel flashbacks...as I have played Builders Paradise before this mission and seeing that DrK worked on both. So I guess no co-incidence :cheeky: . Reading about the dark grenades, maybe I give it another playthrough...

the entirity of this mission is supposed to be in black and white. THe water however, flashes from black and white to green. I reinstalled the HDmod, and there does not seem to be an option to disable the water either in that or tfix..
help plz :(

Don't install this mod, then. AFAIK, it comes with "enhanced" water, which of course is coloured. Apparently, the game now switches between textures made for "A Better Tomorrow" (b&w) and the HDmod textures (coloured).
