There was one problem I have to mention:
In the library after getting the key I went down the elevator. The beast always spotted me and ran towards me. The first time it killed me. The second time it vanished right in front of me and the third time I was able to capture it: I waited till it ran on the elevator, than I sent the elevator upwards where it could not move any further.
That's kinda weird.
Actually you can wait upstairs until the creature runs away, but it's aware of your presence so one glimpse of you and it dashes without hesitation. Nice job with the elevator !Quote Posted by pwl
When I thought I had the patrol routes figured out it seemed like the AI changed them?? Are they getting smarter or is this mission possesed:confused:
Random patrols + random spawns. You can spend several minutes without encountering one of them. Just never relax or you'll get caught by surprise.Quote Posted by MrMunkeepants
at the maintenance room I hid in the corner right next to
where the thing bursts out! how should I have known? :tsktsk:
:laff: I never expected someone to go hide in that precise corner, I swear. And good catch on the reference.

I have so much of the heebie-jeebies right now. I am thoroughly saturated with heebie-jeebies.
You're welcome. My pleasure :ebil:

1. Hearing something upstairs in the abandoned store, going to investigate, then coming back only to see the creepy-ass statue has moved.
And plus, I don't know if anyone else noticed this, what really scared was that if you
touch the statue after it moves you take damage. The statue moving left me uneasy, but I almost jumped when I ran into it and took damage  :cheeky:

While I was doing a little search for loot, I stumbled upon
the Taffer Award and the Dark Grenades. :sly:
where did you find those, and do they kill the things
DrK on 14/11/2012 at 15:31
They are easter eggs. Think high.

They are easter eggs. Think high.Ok, now I am a Taffer with a written diploma as well.
Too bad: it seems like this requires patch 1.19, because with 1.18 the game crashed with 'scene complexity' error
while getting up to the first roof.Nice mission, DrK ! Thanks !

In fact you don't NEED to find it, it's just a bonus. But it is possible to get it with V1.18, I know I did myself. It's quite a challenge though, you have to watch your feet almost all the time to avoid scene complexityI'm surprised there aren't more players requesting help here and there to find stuff...
Do people actually play my mission ? :laff:

I, again, went for the remaining loot and increased my loot count to 2388 this time, and I've found all the supply bags. I'm scratching my head wondering where the remaining loot can be.

A couple tricky loot to find :
- A fine wine in Zack's kitchen, above shelves
- A few coins in the fountain, in the park
- A small statue behind a bed mattress, in the sewers
- A planet globe in the library
- A planet globe in the office of the west appartment, the one with the key to the kitchen

Excellent mission!
Two requests/questions.
1. A hint as to the whereabouts of the key to the street door with the "Golden Shread" sign above it.
2. I suspect the answer is no, but is there any way of downing the monsters permanently?
