Loved playing this mission, wonderfull city and a respectful ambient that can cause some shivers up the spine, i like the use of greyscale, loved the background sounds and the storyline, this is a fine mission of High quality Drk ;-)
Looking foward for more.

I'll post a map in the main post, with the location of the 10 bags and the easter eggs. Just a link to it, so if you don't want spoilers you can ignore it. When I see Fen struggling, I never thought the bags would be so hard to find...
It's more difficult to concentrate in a Let'sPlay than under usual circumstances. He still isn't paying all the necessary attention to the windows where the rope arrows are needed. When I first arrived in the city areas, although by chance, the first bags I found were those in these "ropable areas".
I guess it's a question of "on which areas to focus first". So you have to get used to the needed vertical attention in this mission. :D

Thank you, DrK, for a thoroughly enjoyable mission. Yet again you have succeeded brilliantly in creating a mission that is terrifying. I found the dark grenades about halfway through the mission. The best use I found for them was to have them guard me while I bashed in the door of the grocers with the sword (about the only thing the sword was useful for :p ). I never found the other way to access the place until I was already inside it. I think maybe the best part of the dark grenades was Sly's comment when you first pick them up. :D Anyway, thanks again. I had a lot of fun with the mission.

Lovely mission! :thumb:
A strong starting point with Garrett having to escape the city, with plenty of frightening moments. I enjoyed exploring every nich of the level, collecting loot and bags of equipment, with those monsters running around. Excellent attention to detail overall, in terms of design, sound effects and map.
Thanks DrK! An excellent Halloween entry. Vote cast.

Thanks a lot taffers, it's always a real pleasure to read such feedbacks. :D
It gives me the strength and will to continue dromeding.
And don't forget to vote ! ;)

Object stacking is really useful to get the
Dark Grenades. :p
*whine* Do we haaaave to?? I really really hate stacking boxes. :( I prefer to ascend using mantling, jumping and rope arrows--you know, challenging but fun ways of getting up, not making repetitive trips for things to stack. Arrg. .I'm sure I can even see the
Dark Grenades from a distance, just sitting there atop the roof. . MOCKING ME. :grr:
Anyway. .
I'm playing this again and now I want to see if I can get all the easter eggs. I've already found the Taffer Award all by myself! I've also gotten all
10 bags of food and so far the only thing I'm missing is the
Dark Grenades. *sigh*
I think I may be the only one who feels this way, but for some strange reason I wasn't that scared by this mission at all. Sure I got startled at a few points but that was it. The only parts that genuinely creeped me out, though, were the
house with the heavy breathing and some exposition in part of a readable that talked about how "they take the bodies away. ." which made me realize that sure enough, there's a lot of blood around but no bodies. . what do they do with them?

Yo! Mon frère y a joué. J'avais pas fait gaffe, mais mon nom est mentionné dans le livre du machiniste au début, ça m'a fait beaucoup rire! :cheeky:
I have voted, I think that this mission is good. I played Greenbay after: wow, I was a bit shocked! Seeing the difference between the two mission!
Very impressive! :thumb:
I'm curious about the results...
Hum...Is it how the world would be if Garrett fail in Rocksbourg? Or how Rocksbourg's story will be ended?
I think that you wouldn't answer me! ^^ And that's surely better! :laff:
Good game & good luck french-fellow-taffer!
BTW: After the contest, does this mission would be translated? (Please english speaker, help me: Tell me If I have made a mistake in this sentence! :cheeky:)

Oh man, that was easier than I thought! For some reason, the height of the building made me think I'd need to collect a whole bunch of crates to stack! Oh well. .
Thanks!

Thanks very much for this offering :thumb:
The stuff of nightmares in an extraordinarily atmospheric setting.
