I too cannot get the silver key to open the door. Someone earlier in this thread suggested it was a problem with NVScripts. I was also told that was why I couldn't get certain things to work as intended in Tell Tale Heart. But I have recently reinstalled T2 and the latest NVScripts, and still neither this mission nor Tell Tale Heart works properly. :confused:

I also had the latest NVScript installed but I still had problems. I reinstalled NVScript again anyway and that fixed everything. I don't know why. But you might want to try it. I used (

I'm totally lost in this mission!
This is original, but a real mess:
-I got 8 flares
-a grappling hook
-a keyring
-a gear
I have explored the upper library (the great ladder)
A strange area with corridors with desk & dead-end.
Can you tell me where could i find the dynam, i just can't find it!
EDIT:
I would add that I just can't see where you have found the locked door I'm seeking for it everywhere, I'm losing more flare that I'm finding interesting stuff. And where should I throw that gapple?
Please, give me a hint!

Too frustratring for me, with limited flares and complete darkness. Going to pass I'm afraid. :(

When you go to the upper part of the library, turn up your gamma for 5 seconds and then look around.
To the right of the room, where the light is flickering, you see another room, where you can climb to when you got the grabbing hook.

So i got the wire and powder but when i put them on the table and press the button nothing happens.

If I recall correctly, you have to put them on the same table as the button and you have to put the wire first. If you did that and it didn't work, then I don't know what to say.
