I was thinking of sticking on Eternal Darkness now I've found my working Gamecube memory card. If you haven't played this game, go and buy it now. It's awesome.

It's average. And not very scary.

Yeah, but I'll have to buy some US PSN cards and register a fake account with a fake address won't I? Where do I get those and wtf can't I just buy it from here? Grrrr.

Halloween isn't really celebrated over here in Finland but as it happens I am thinking about picking up Alone in the Dark(for 360). It's 6,50? at play.com. What's the general concencus here? Is it worth playing?
Worth trying, I liked it but it's hard to recommend, it is broken.
SE, just get it on disc, ps3 can run it, there is a sounbug in the first area but the rest runs fine

If by "average" you mean "wonderfully atmospheric" then yes, I agree entirely.

Oh and don't be naive, every region has its own read tape. Eg It would likely have to be reclassified by the BBFC. Hound Konami Europe to get their arse into gear.

In that case you'd be wrong; the production values
alone are above average, to say nothing of the plot, the graphics, the sound design, replayability, and so on. The combat itself might be average, but it's more than leveraged by nearly all of the game's other aspects.
