What an incredible FM Frobber - thanks so much for all the efforts it took to make it. I loved the
frozen over waterway and the view walking up to the Town square - with the different heights of the areas all over the map, it made it seem so much like a real city
. I encourage everyone to check this one out and some of the conversations are really funny. :) I'm going back in tonight just to wander around the map some more.
Great FM peoples - make sure to check it out. :)

Just played though this and liked it a lot, although I did spend half of my time trying to figure out where to go, I also kept missing the levers on the walls to open up the gates to the other areas, but that is probably just me being incompetent :cheeky:.
Still, very nice architecture in and around the city, which in turned my walking speed into a snails pace, because of the slow down... ;)
I managed to find a blackjack right in the cathedrals entrance, and im still baffled why
all of the zombies decided to revolt against the towns people, all at the same time!
Very funny, but never-the-less, a great mission, I cant wait for the second part.
Keep up the good work!

It's labeled "Spare BlackJack" and it really is a spare. One beta-tester lost her blackjack under an odd set of circumstances, and since I could never figure out why, I decided to merely create and leave a spare in a handy location -- but I can't reveal why I put it right there :)
As to your spoiler comment...
The zombies actually come out in several waves, but on Expert, the timing is so close together that it may well seem sometimes to have happened all at once. Also, the mission design is a chaotic system, so the next time you may hardly see them in bunches at all.
Downloading right now the file size is big but i know it will be worth it
Wish i had DSL now but i cannot get for atleast 10 months for now due Telstra's stupid slowness upgrading for Broadband for my area i live in
BTW good to see you back Theef

Hey Glenn. How'd CL go? You're gonna love Hallucinations. Every second of download time worth it. Knowing what I know now, I'd download it on a modem, if I were forced to.
An excellent FM of the first order. I'm glad Frobber posted about the invisible elevator technology. I'd been wondering about how that'd been done in 7th Crystal. I was raving about it to my wife (who doesn't play Thief, and therefore doesn't get it) and she just said, "Oh, yeah?"
Women. Sheeh.
Theef, ducking under a hail of bullets.

In darkloader, try uninstalling the mission (by installing the standard Thief 2 game), then re-install the mission again.
Your machine seems plenty capable -- and [EDIT] one of the testers (SlyFoxx -- see below) has as much horsepower, so I doubt speed matters. I have no idea if XP would be a problem -- doubt it, though.
Please let me know what happens...

I've got the same specs except for a 1.6gig. Never had a problem w/ the alpha, beta or final versions. Good luck though.
