Hit Diety
I remember now about the main reason I list you in the acknowledgements -- Your FM, The Ties That Bind was one of the few missions I've played during the last six months. And there, you feature a character named with a passing resemblance to my screen name, so I had to give it a try!
Later, when the time came to set up some of my triggers and objectives, I couldn't remember how to do everything -- so I checked out your mission, since it was fairly fresh in my mind, and being a 64 cube mission, it was also pretty easy to find things. Beyond this, I do remember that you've written quite a few answers to other people's questions, and I have updated my notes in a number of places based on these responses.
So that's the story behind the story.

Hi Folks,
I'm wondering if Hallucinations could be made available in quarter increment downloads? My poor ole dial-up is showing 3 hrs + for the 45meg file. Would it save the web sight owners bandwidth costs as well?
Thanks,
Take care, Jim B.

I put a split version on my site. I set things up just like Calendra's Legacy; just click the missions info link to see the split files.

I'm working my way through this very fine FM but I'm constantly being distracted trying to remember what happened at the end of The Enterprise. It's been a long time since I played that one and I deleted the saved games many moons ago. This is what I recall from the end:
I descended into Master Solustice's secret lair, heard his story, and received his offer. I remember leaving the lair through a secret door that lead to the outside area. What the heck exactly happened in there though? Did Garrett give an answer to the offer? Was there a cut scene at the end? It's bugging me that I can't remember!
Thanks!

Thanks!
In the lair, Garrett hears from old-man Solustice that he needs to read a certain contract proposal, then make up his mind about it. A version of this contract proposal (slightly revised for continuity reasons) is actually located in Garrett's weapons cabinet in Hallucinations. The Enterprise was originally called "Garrett's Choice" and in the end he has a choice -- but it is left to the player's imagination which way Garrett chooses. It's pretty clear by Hallucinations that he hasn't done anything yet about the offer -- and probably never will. You can actually listen to the old man speaking by popping open the zip file for the Enterprise, then clicking on the largest of the *.wav files.
It's pronounced "FLOOKER", in case you were wondering. I can't resist anymore :)
* Does everbody know the Scotish word for lakes? Loch Ness e.g.
So if you see a german word containing the 'ch', just pronounce like you do with the ch at the end of 'loch'.
* A german 'E' is always(!!!!) spoken like the e's in english remedy
* A german 'U' is spoken like the english double-oh, like in 'mood'
Hence, speak Christine's FM 'Flucht' like
floo-ch-t (a sharp 't'), 'Abendspaziergang' like
ah-bend-spa-sear-gah-ng (Sorry, but I cannot recall an english word with the sound for a 'ng'. But how do you pronounce this Indian river 'Ganges'?)
As to you patient, Hit Deity, Mr/Mrs. Flucker will probably react and/or heal quickly if adressed with
floo-keh-r Hope this helps, having introduced you all into this wonderful german lingo :joke:

Ganges?
NNNN-'say the letter G', which I don't think is what you're looking for. I thought it was prounounced more like the ng in gong, but with a slight bit of a gutteral 'K' in it.

Playing Hallucinations as part of the full Keeper of the Prophecies campaign, but I have an issue. Anytime after 9:30 I can't save/reload. The game crashes to the desktop on any reload. I have a save just at 9:30 but anytime after that doesn't work. If I play
without reloading, I can play until 9:35-9:40 but then it always crashes to the desktop at a random point during gameplay. I looked up threads about this issue, but all those questions were from 10-15 years back. Is there a script problem here? I did apply the .dmls recommended for this mission pack by fortuni and team.
(
https://klatremus.org/uploads/quick.sav) This is the last savegame that works. If you fire that up, then wait about 1-2 minutes (until you see the gray haunt appear in the distance to the right) then try to save and reload hopefully the problem can be recreated. Thanks.

Haha
Looks like the haunts and zombies are not allowing you to ghost this mission. :cheeky:
I can confirm your findings with a few extra observations.
With me the CTD didn't occur until approx 9.40, and I was guessing the cause of the CTD is most likely to be a rogue zombie or haunt, I've come across CTD's before when you have killed an AI, initially thought it was one of the haunts that chased a couple of the townsfolk into the tavern (you can't get in there) but he never came out so I was guessing he got stuck in a bad place. I thought it might be him because the zombies come in waves of 3/4 and I quick saved after killing each wave and tested a reload, all was good until the haunt went into the tavern, after 2 mins I saved and reloaded and then had my first CTD.
So loaded again at 9.15, hid in the shadows and just watched, killed no-one and got all the way to 9.45 and the optional goal completing, but after that I then got a CTD yet still had killed no-one.
I also noticed that if you don't take on the zombies and just let the clock tick you complete the bonus objective ''To whom much is given, much is also required -- help defend the town until 9:45''. even though you haven't actually defended the town so to speak, don't know if you consider this to be a bug or the wording of an objective to be badly written, nor do I know if the completion of this goal has anything to do with the CTD, but I doubt if it's a script issue, the scripting seems to work, so still guessing it maybe a rogue AI.
I want to check out this sequence playing via an older T2Fix, but I know when I wrote my lootlist everything behaved correctly and that was probably via ND1.24 or ND1.25
Edit 1: Reloading from 9.48 there's a haunt (2082) who becomes alerted by a couple of townsfolk outside the tavern, there is no CTD up until the point that he becomes alerted by them, can't see why a haunt going into alert status should cause a CTD, but an interesting observation maybe.
Edit 2: Just played on T2Fix_ND1.27d and the game CTD at 9.25, 5 minutes before the zombies and haunts turned up, so no it's probably not haunt 2082 causing the problem. So what is? I'll replay again tomorrow on ND1.27c

Thanks for testing this out fortuni. Some interesting observations. The optional objective doesnt require you to kill anybody. It just requires you to wait to finish the mission until after 9:45, which makes it harder bc there are tons of zombies around, and most on alert from all the fighting. Even more difficult for ghost bc you cant take any of them out. If you end before that it simply gets crossed out, which is ok for ghost but not supreme.
Correction about the waves. It's true the first significant wave comes at 9:30, but there are definitely zombies before that. When I came out of the attorney's office after completing everything it was 9:18, and an archer was in the middle of taking one out just west of those offices, outside town square. But I've never had any CTD issues until after 9:30.
