Aaaagh, I got to the second door but couldn't find the key for it.

This is pretty sweet. Addictive, too, but then again I've found most of the Atari games that I've played to be addictive.

My mom actually ran into Ed Fries while showing his wife's garden to someone recently. Sounds like a nice guy.
And yeah, this is awesome.

It's a neat idea and I'm impressed with the time he spent putting it together, but I can't say I really find the game all that fun. It reminds me of a much shittier Berzerk.

It amazes me how people can cram that much game into 4K bytes. I mean, it's not a complex game, but 4096 bytes? Damn, that's some very efficient programming, I have no idea how to even do the title screen + music within 4K...
I got to the part where you encounter stationary turrets that shoot at you very fast and then I died, didn't feel like starting all over again. Maybe on an emulator with save states I would've played further, but that's cheating of course.
