Hammer Haunts.... - by DreadLord

I wonder if the "haunt" which protects the mystic´s heart/soul (i´m not sure) is the same type of undead like the hammer haunts....
It´s clear that The Eye draw its power from the "chaos-dimension". At the same time it created all the undead (Haunts included)
So all in all this leads to the conclusion that there are relations between Haunts and the chaos dimension/the Trickster...

Where does it say that anywhere in the game?

Well I think it does because the Trickster used it for his ritual....
at the same time time it caused this cataclysm and all the undead appeared.....

Ummmm... no. No, it's not. It has nothing to do with the Maw, being powered by Glyph-magic.

The Trickster was
using the Eye to get access to MORE POWER. He uses it as an amplifier.

The Trickster used it because it had
power. It's not something of his.
It created the undead because the Hammerites tried (and failed) to access that same power. The Trickster had nothing to do with it.

Precisely.
Perhaps your memory of Dark Project is rusty? Maybe you should dust it off, or purchase it.
Remember that "The Trickster" sends you to these haunted places. That is really the only connection to Trickster and Haunts...

I just finished it the 2nd time 2 days ago.....

Where does it say that the eye is powered by glyph magic!?
When you read the books in "escape" you learn that the eye can be used as tool to open some kind of connection from the chaos dimension to the City. Thats why I think that the eye itself is powered by this chaotic energies....
Well I´m not sure if the eye is some kind of necromantic tool but I do belief so...but we know that it can "create" undead.....

Have you played TDS? Because it's pretty clearly spelled out there.
The Keepers created the Eye as a key component of a glyph-magic ritual, invested with the sentience of one of their own members.
The Trickster is
seeking to tap the immense power of the Eye to FUEL his ritual.
Well but this doesnt necessarily mean that the eye itself is glyph magic.
I think the Keeper didnt create the eye but just "modified" it a bit with the sentience . I think its an much older artefact....
Still there is no evidence that it isnt a tool which is related to tis chaos dimension and fueled by it.....
I´m sure that the eye is much more than a simple glyph key. Otherwise, the Trickster could have also used (exemple) thje mystic´s heart for his ritual......
I think all the glyph keys are artefacts which had been created by different ancient cultures and some of them even had magical properties before the keeper "stole" them and turned them into glyph-keys with sentience....
When the keepers have created the whole Eye, it seems very strange to me that the Hammerites have gained access to it....

Your latest comment here, I am not disputing. And besides, when I brought up The Eye, it was only in response to The Haunts. That's what you wanted to know about.

Exactly. And to protect itself it raised up the spirits or whathaveyou of the Dead Hammers in the area. So, there you have it, Dread 'ol boy. The mystery of The Haunts is solved.
