Sorry if my spelling bad.Who should I side with the Hammerites or the Pagens? When I moss the conerstone in the graveyard and try to leave,I get attack by the Hammerites out side Fort Ironhood.Does it make a difference what side I choose?

It is up to you which side you choose. I sided with both in the end.
If you are hostile to either the Hammers or the Pagans. They will attack you.
If you become Neutral with them, but not allied, they will not attack you,but you will not be allowed to enter that faction's headquarters .
When Allied you will be allowed to enter that faction's headquarters. They will also help you,
After a few missions it will be clear if you are on their evil list.:ebil:
There are things you can do to improve your standing, and become friendly.
If you just want to become neutral with the Hammers.Or Allied with both.
It is up to the way you want to play it. During Missions they are all hostile towards you. Even if they were good outside. It will not change your standing outside though.:)

Do you mean that if you side with either one, the other one will lower the rating to you? No, even if you help the Pagans for example, the Hammerite will not hate you for this. The only ways to decline the status is to blackjack them, kill them or steal in thier territories.
I personally advise you to ally with both factions, because it will make your life easier. You don't want to get out to the street and bump into a hostile Hammerite or Pagan, right?

You say your faction says you are a allie?. Do you mean of the Hammers?
The corner stones give you alliance with the pagan's,not the hammers.
Did you read in the Library how to get Alliance with the hammers?
*spoiler*
Have you done this?.
Shoot the gold beetles that are wandering around is one wayTo raise higher with pagans.
shoot each day an arrow of each of the elemental arrows. In the pagan camp shoot them through the middle of what looks like big white tusks.
Fire, gas, water and moss. When low.Use more of the others. It will work.

Ok, that does not make any sense.

If you are neutral or Allied to the pagans or the Hammers. On the outside. In the Cities. Then go and do one of their missions.Example like the Hammer Clock tower mission. In there,no matter how friendly they have been. They will attack you. That is what I meant.:p

And whatever you do in that mission has no bearing on how they act toward you in the city. For example, if you are allied with the Hammers before you do the Cathedral mission, then go into the mission and kill or KO all of the Hammers, when you exit the mission they will still be allied with you.

That's one of those things that I can see why and why not. On one hand you'd think if you killed some Hammers in a mission, the Hammers in the city would be a little pissed off but on the other hand, in the same scenario, the only way not to lose what you've done for them in the city would be to ghost the mission. You do have most of the game to earn back their trust though.
