Do the Hammers do charity/collections? If so, how much do they actually hand out to the people in need?

If a woodchuck could chuck wood, how much wood would a woodchuck chuck?

I can't see the Hammers caring much about the poor, but I can't think of anywhere it's explicitly stated.

Do you think a group of people who spend all day making hammers and getting robbed be me have the time/resources to establish a system of welfare?

The GarrettQuip in Cragscleft (
"This must be how they spend all those tithes.") would suggest not.
TitheNoun; one tenth of annual produce or earnings, formerly taken as a tax for the support of the Church and clergy.

I suspect that Hammerite "charity" consists of offering employment in various labor-intensive tasks, or giving severe beatings to anyone who asks for a handout.

If a woodtrucker tucked wood with a woodtrucker chuck to a woodtrucker truck, about as much as a woodtrucker could tack to a woodtrucker truck on a tricky woodtrucker truck track.

MM, that made no sense at all! :laff: A correct response to "If a woodchuck could chuck wood, how much wood would a woodchuck chuck?" would be something like...
"A woodchuck would chuck no amount of wood because a woodchuck shouldn't be chucking wood!" You'd then follow that by saying something like...
"Ahh, but if a woodchuck should be chucking wood, how much wood wood a woodchuck chuck?" Then you'd reply that with something like...
"Even if a woodchuck should be chucking wood, a woodchuck shouldn't chuck wood because woodchucks can't chuck wood." and...
"OK... But if a woodchuck could chuck wood and should chuck wood, how much wood would a woodchuck chuck?" OK, I'm done! :cheeky:

*Tis the season, for notable charities, giving to the poor, good will towards men, and all that schtick. As I make my way through the crowd to start my annual xmas shopping, I hear the familiar sound of a bell, off in the distance.
Paying no attention as I dig through my purse looking for my lipstick. I get closer and closer to that red bucket, something catches my eye, doth my eyes deceive me? I see the Salvation army has a new campaign going this year, I guess they figured they needed to be more persuasive, what the..........I see a hammerite, swinging the bell, trying to get donations.
:wot: :p
what happens if you don't give, do they hall ass and chase you down with their hammers? LOL.
