I'm playing Thief from the start in 1998.
I stil play FM's every evening or are busy testing new FM's. I'm in the middle of one now.

March birthday. Over 60! Still playing missions and making missions. Hope to release one this year (and the next one I am not going to let it get way too big which happened on this one).
I guess there is quite an age span in this community.

ps: Wouldn't it great to work on FM's instead of going to work? Think of how many FM's we could all pump out if we had that kind of time instead of late at night when we are all semi brain dead.

Thanks bbb. I tend to bag on my own missions a bit ...I know they're not that bad. What they certainly are is simple...at least from a design standpoint. The amount of Rube Goldberg stuff going on behind the curtains in missions by say...Nameless Voice, Eshakatar and others is simply staggering to me. How Mission X even works would make my head explode if I tried to comprehend it. So my stuff is "get in, nix some stuff, don't get killed and scarper back to your flat." Nice thing is that really is enough for a decent experience. The makers of Thief got so much correct right out of the gate that all a duffer like me needs do is stick to the simple formula, align a few textures, place a guard or two, put a giggle in a readable and stand back.

It doesn't have to be perfect. I think you did a great job with "Unfinished Business". Lovely traditional feel, solid story and city design, I enjoyed it!
