2013 is, I feel, going to be a very odd one, for the world, for gaming, for technology and for TTLG.
Fwiw: I've had the most relaxing new years day, doing not much apart from eating great food and lazing on the sofa. Hope everyone had as chilled a day.

Few friends cancelled party plans for the 'eve so I was quite bummed about that. Luckily, some Zinfandel and my roommate's freshly baked apple pie made the night all the much better; we popped a champagne and made fun of the people at Time's Square for good 20 minutes before crashing. All in all, not a bad evening.

We sang some karaoke, drank some cheap Thai beer, and exchanged gifts here.
I got a slab of chicken & dried fish "snacks".
Other than that, pretty quiet & inauspicious start to the new year.

It went swimmingly well, though I suspect we don't have very much in common. Except a mutual hate of screaming babies.

Even though the dog is dead, we still have the old tradition of staying home on new year's eve. Tacos, drinks (only soft for me though, thanks to the remains of a headache) and Captain Scarlett :thumb:
