Google has answers to all your second verse-related questions. And more!

I got it too faetal, and I liked it.
What is Eva on about people? Google gives me nothing.

Wasn't Red making an FPS ages ago? They've shown a teaser and I remember Spritis Within like monsters.

It was called They. It's been either put on hold indefinitely or outright cancelled, can't remember.
Pemptus on 17/7/2011 at 08:39
Cancelled a fair amount of time ago.

So it's a Doom/Painkiller-esque, old school KILL EVERYTHING shooter, in a Blade Runner-ish setting? I'm interested now.

If done well, it could prove to be a nice break from all the heavily-scripted post-HL FPSes.
Could be a nice companion game to Serious Sam 3 (since they're being released around roughly the same time).

I have to admit, I respect their line on multiplayer, and to some extent PC-exclusivity. Though I kind of selfishly wish the PC had more going for it at this point than graphics... it's a sad day indeed if that's the only reason devs can give for not bothering to go cross-platform. But I really do have to ask at this point what they mean by 'player-environment interaction'. And to note that trading 'on-rails' for 'monster arena shooter' isn't exactly my idea of a good time.
I hope they'll release a demo!

It does.
