Curious to know if anyone has compiled a synopsis yet of all the Thief games.

It would be nice to have a reference for the core facts from Thief. Someone suggested doing it for all the FMs, but that would take forever. The OMs might be a little more manageable.

Yeah, pretty much! I'm sure there are a few more niggling details I could use, but that's about right.
There might be one for T1 or TG floating around somewhere, as well as T3. Maybe someone will post with that info.

just play all 3 thiefs and that is best compiled info out :P,as far as thief gold i chalk that up to they were hurting for money and pop that game out,but i do like the missions thieves guild and song of the caverns,but how they butched the levels layout was terrible and that mages towers mission was useless,more like a training level,and the way they broke up the idols was sad,never did feel right playing thief gold,"mind you i owned thief 1 dp on release date so i was use to it
i should name myself "broken english" lol

You can (and should) drop the "DokuWiki=xxxxxx" from links. It's an annoying session ID thing that I haven't been successful in eliminating because PHP is a sick whore.

I don't believe any single person has all three parts of the trilogy summarized. I do believe all three have been summarized, more than once each, but they are scattered about. It would still be easier to search for the disparate parts than to write up a new one. If anybody was up to the task, it would be a nice addition. Any All-in-One project for the games creates a useful resource for the fan community.
As an aside:
Hit Deity, did you ever transcribe any of the TMA *.wav's, particularly whole folders (minus snoring, whistling, grunting, and coughing, of course)? I know you did some TDP/Gold Hammerites for a schema website project. Did you ever go further with the transcribing?
Anyway, maybe if one could compile the existing synopses, that would be a start. And then one could use that to make a new, cohesive grand synopsis of the trilogy. It'll have to be written with Thief Gold as the primary with notes on the comparative differences it has with Dark Project.

I don't remember that, but that wouldn't be the first time. Could you have me confused with someone else? I might have copied and pasted something along those lines and forgotten to give credit, ???? Maybe.

Yeah, but now someone needs to put them all together into a single, cohesive synopsis that presents the three as a single story with many themes, subplots, etc.
