I was just listening to some of the voice clips from the guards in Thief 1 and I suddenly had an idea.
Why not make a fan mission where you play as one of the guards? :joke:
I've fiddled with Dromed in the past and while I couldn't actually use the physical model of a guard and get the speech system to work properly, I do know that instead of using Garrett's voice clips, we could just use those from one of the guards instead. :)
For a simple level, we wouldn't need a voice actor, but we may need one for a more advanced or complex mission.
But think about the idea for a minute: How many missions actually let you play as one of the guards instead of Garrett or some other Thief-like person?
