So I am a huge nerd for anything spy-fi and ever since I learned of Deep Cover years ago, and of the leaked / released assets from that game, I've been wondering if anyone ever decided to build a little Thief FM based on those objects and textures? I don't think I've ever seen a more modern day FM. Are there any? I even tried to learn Dromed a few years ago just to try my own hand at it, but alas I couldn't get anything done :cheeky:
Cheers

i would say some of gorts missions have that modern feel along with that throw back detective set of missions in black and white/kinda = amazing, there are other modern missions that fit the criteria of what you put

Try Waterfront Racket by Yandros, it's got that 1940s private eye feel to it. Not quite modern but pretty close.

What they said. Plus some of it is evident from the article itself. For example:
"There were going to be multiple factions... depending on how you played each mission, you could make different groups pleased or disappointed. Later missions would be affected by this. while there wasn't going to be an overall branching mission structure, each mission in the game could be changed in minor ways that would affect the flow and difficulty."
That's Thief 3.
The screenshots look like a level from Rainbow Six

There is Batman Demo, created by Independent Thief. The FM uses a level from Deep Cover (STREETS01, to be exact) that has been improved.
