Can family relations count ? Cause it's like with my older sister : she doesn't take much notice of what I say, or do, or whatever:(:confused:
But yes, apart from that, it's cost me one good friend relation at school. He was a good friend, but just because I played ''old'' games like Thief, and that I always had a feeling about how a Thief 4 would pop up out of the blue, he got annoyed and didn't talk to me again. Now I do school at home and I really do miss him:(:(.
Well, all good thing come to an end. Even relationships. :(;)

It'd be interesting to have a thread where Taffers talk about what they do for a living...I'd bet we're an extremely diverse crowd.
Here ya go, already been asked.

I'm very, very, very lucky...I happened to meet a woman five years ago that loves the Thief games just as much as I do (as well as all my other life interests and hobbies), and we're still together. On the weekends we have "game time" where she plays something and I play something. Sometimes we'll both play the same FM to see who can beat it first. :laff:
Wow man, I'm so glad you met her, that happens so few times... Well, maybe I'm wrong, and it's not so difficult, but I have never seen it in my environment (none of my friend's girlfriends like videogames).
Congratulations :thumb::thumb::thumb:

Haha, that's along the lines of what I'd tell my father when I was 16 -
"But dad, it's better than doing drugs..." It would only get me so far, though.
You mean you I could be
doing drugs instead? WTF!

I managed the risks with skill.... and convinced her to give Thief a try. She's not to much into sneaking, in fact she has never finished the second mission... but she fell in love with Garrett anyway.
Now I can play it whenever I want. :ebil:
And no, I'm not jelous. Live and let live.

I've required every guy I've ever seriously dated to play Thief... ;)
