I already dumped a lot of my database into it, mainly the transcription work by various fans. I personally find it unreliable and useless outside of the uploaded game-files and transcriptions (the one type of article I link others to), and movies. It also isn't good for printing or offline work and searching for things is often horrible, when it's not incorrect. Hi-res images were replaced by tiny and overly-compressed images that only a fan could identify.

Actually a book with illustrations is a good idea!

As was mentioned, the spell-casting Apparitions are the ones that are unintelligible, but they are speaking pitch-distorted and reversed clips of Viktoria's speech to Garrett before she rips his eye out.
That's really cool. I had no idea!

Before LGS settled on the concept, they actually had the Haunts reciting Hammer chants/tenets, but evil spirits possessing Hammer bodies wouldn't do something considered holy and purifying, so they changed that.
Could you provide a source on this? Not that I don't believe you, I was just wondering if there are maybe some unused haunt voice clips I haven't heard.

It's okay, you don't have to believe me, and any correction to update my facts is appreciated. What I cannot verify is any possible differences between the first release and subsequent ones, but here're a couple of attempts to transcribe them in 2001, a couple of years later:

Me thinks Gimodonatsonic.net likes to start threads just for the sake of starting them, then he disappears.
Sorry Gimodon, but imo those were pretty inane questions. Haunts are haunts. They behave like haunts should behave. They sound like haunts should sound. They're the evil ghosts of nasty Hammerites, for cryin' out loud.
'Nuff said.
Yeah, so it's past my bedtime; so what .... :p
