Thanks for the loot list. I apparently missed something in the closed off attic..lol The mission is done and it was excellent. I can not wait for more.

For those of us who are having a dreadful time finding all these millions of switches, could somebody please help me locate some of them?
I found only one switch on my own: the one in the unlit room in the basement, on the wall behind the coffin; I found two others after reading here where they were: the ones at either end of the secret passage between the antechamber and the room behind the stairs the patrolling skeletons use -- a frobbable torch in the antechamber, a switch in an upper corner in the passage where the skeleton is found.
I have no idea how to get into the grating in the downstairs room with the patrolling skeletal archer, or the grating in the second half of the upstairs hallway; I have no idea where is found the kitchen key (somebody mentioned it was in "red mist," and the only place I found that was in the red room the ghost stood before. But I can't find any key or any switch in that room.
What should I do next?
Thanks,
Dafydd

I understand you found the
Corridor Key
. Go further on
in the upper floor and you'll find a ladder. Upstairs follow the tunnel. At its end you'll see some clouds of red mist.
Watch out carfully
and do not hurry you don't have a slow fall potion
The corridor ends at the red room, and no, I can't see any ladder, or even a hole in the ceiling where a ladder might lead. Are you skipping some step, like "you have to flip the switch in thus-and-such room first?"

Sorry I didn't say it more clearly :ebil:
At the beginning of that corridor there's a dark room. Find some loot on a widowsill. Look closely in the corner opposite to the window. Operate another hard-to-find switch you. Exit that room an look at the wall down on the right
With that hint, I was able to finish the mission.
Fun, but very frustrating... I definitely think the switches should be just a little easier to see.

I forgot in my last post that I was busted by the spiders on return owing to the need to make a splash. Perhaps that could be avoided, but I gave up after a few minutes of trying. I don't suggest fixing that, however. Leave it to someone with more time on his/her hands. :)

This was good. A real hoot. I would, however, have preferred to trade in the need for loot gathering for an additional objective or two. I can see it now. You're ten feet from finally retrieving the ball when suddenly a goblin appears, grabs it, chitters, grins, and waves at you, then hops away cackling. Now you've got to explore the entire place just to figure out what the critter did with it. :)
Speaking of loot, *technically* I'm not done yet, since I'm still short. There's only one place that I'm certain I'm supposed to get into, but haven't found a way, yet. Could use a little help:
Just off of the main hall, right next to the stairs (ground level) is a room. I had already been in this room once, but couldn't find a way through either of the metal plates. Later on, I ended up coming *through* one of them into this room again (what appears to be a fireplace). I've looked high and low, but damned if I can find a trigger for the smaller metal door on the other side of the room. Anyone know where it is?
Oh, and you might find this humorous:
I've always found that ghosting is much easier than disabling guards or killing beasties, and so I always take the harder path, since it's more fun and challenging. (It's easy to sneak past someone, just slower. Finding a way to blackjack a well-lit room full of half a dozen guards is tough!) So, on those rare occasions where there's a bunch of monsters, and for once I can actually use something other than my blackjack, I have a blast and go monster hunting. On this occasion, however, there's a lot of stuff that you just can't kill. Every ghost I encountered got whacked to death with my trusty pipe, with the exception of the little girl. Actually, I *did* beat her senseless the first time, but guilt made me reload the game, at which point she apparently retained her memory of my previous psychotic behavior and promptly vanished in a puff of nothingness before I could offer her any candy. The spiders lived, but we weren't given a bow, and the pipe wouldn't do the job for three of them at once, so I gave them a miss. Then it got fun. I had the pumkinhead guy chase me to the skeletons, then I dove into the pond to watch the carnage. He set right in on them, but they ripped him a new one, then came out and went to work on all the bats. Yay! Heh, so then I got all of them to chase me around to the other side, jumped up on a window ledge, and sat back to watch the free-for-all. Skeletal warriors and pumpkinhead men went at it like two street gangs fighting over turf. It was great, and I wish I'd had some popcorn. Worked out perfectly, too. Came down to one skeleton as surviving victor, and what did he do? Immediately started running towards a new threat out of my range of vision. Curious as hell, I jumped down and peeked around the corner. He'd seen.... a rat!!! LOL Watching him fence with a squeeking, but unkillable rat was funny as hell (I took screenshots!). I trotted off to go kill the archer, since he hadn't followed, then came back and did the rat's work for him (well, he wasn't fighting back, so somebody had ta do it). :) So, pretty much everything is dead and gone, but that damned bat in the main hall remains! Curses! I did everything I could, even dragged a skeleton in there, but they just ignored each other in their mutual zeal to dissembowel me. God, I do so hate that bat.
Oh, and I'd love it if someone would explain how they got on the roof. I'm assuming you used the boulder to stand on, but where? I tried putting the boulder on top of the coffin, then jumping onto it, but that still didn't put me within reach of the hole in the ceiling. Where else did you do it?

Kurgan - look closely at the tomb in the room on the right of the main hall (with the active skeleton)
