I have to say that the music is better suited to the gameplay in DX. Not better, but...
I liked how the conspiracy theories had some credence to them. I knew about the Illuminati already and enjoyed their part in the game.
The DX endings, though... They were a little disappointing. :(

Well, I like the music in both games very much. They all suit the game atmosphere very well.
