having problems to clear goals. - by Cardia

i set up some goals as optionals, but then i decided to not have them so i run cleanobj.cmd and then created new goals, this time with no optional objectives, i opened the mission and run mygoals.cmd
however Dromed assumes i still have optional goals. so i can actually finish the mission without completing certain goals, i know i have set everything well, know that the go to a location i check "last" i have tried this several times i even created new objects to acquire but somehow my mission assumes that i need to have those optional goals, anyay that i can clean for good all values from the mission quest data?
here i can´t clean this:

I find sometimes I have to manually delete them using the quest_delete command.

Make sure your .cmd file uses the commands in SlyFoxx's post.
If you're running the .cmd file from the menu that comes with Tafferpatcher/The Dromed Toolkit, double check you're just entering "cleanobj.cmd" and not "run cleanobj.cmd", because the menu item handles the 'run' part itself.

I did use slyfoxx post but i still got goals values in the quest mission data.

can you give me an example on how to delete one of the goals in the image above?
Nevermind i have figured how to delete them manually

Alright i was able to delete them manually, phew
Again thank you guys for your support

You shouldn't have to delete them manually if you have that .cmd file.
File > Run Command...
cleanobj.cmd
However if that cmd file is in a subfolder (e.g. ...\Thief2\cmds\cleanobj.cmd) you have to type in cmds\cleanobj.cmd

I should've clarified and said in instances like these I don't "have to" manually clear them, but that I find it's easier to manually delete them (or to add them) and just be done with it and know it works. I wasn't trying to insinuate the .cmd file option doesn't work. The objectives aren't even really that difficult to manually enter, but I think a lot of people get overwhelmed through lack of practice, especially with the (very useful) Objective Wizard and such doing all the hard work.

My comment wasn't aimed at you Xorak. I was encouraging cardia1 to look into his situation so that in future he has an easier time with cmd files.

Thank you Rsoul :thumb:, i noticed that slyfoxx values does remove every optional goal, i´ll keep his nixall.cmd file saved for future objective fixes.
