We'll need your Mario Kart code for that.

It's a separate code? Damn it -_-
I havent picked it up yet, sometimes this week I will so I'll let you know.

I added your Wii code (I don't have Mario Kart), but sometimes it takes a day or two to register. And then you'll be getting some nice fucked up Miis.
My personal favourite is burnvictim. It's fun to be subversive within Nintendo's tight restraints.

So I picked up Mario Galaxy, Wario Ware, and Metroid 3.
Damn fine games.
Wario Ware is a goddamn blast if you have a couple of wasted friends sitting around. Mario Galaxy is -way way- more fun than I expected the 5303420302 installment of the Mario series to be. I was instantly going :cheeky: when I played it. And of course Metroid is simply divine with the wiimote.
Soon I'll get the Kart thing going an we can have ourselves a TTLGT.

I forgot to add my code. I just got a Wii last week. I only have a couple games (Wii Sports and Animal Crossing City Folk), though Crimbus will inevitably bring more...

P.S. Cheers to Nintendo for adding built in Wi-Fi. I didn't know it had that, and I was extremely pleased! I figured I would be grabbing a 12' CAT-5 cable from my box o' parts and running it from the router.

There's a good chance that a casual gamer might be giving me their barely used Wii (PAL) soon, which I know for a fact is soft-mod friendly (running an ancient firmware revision). I have a couple questions about that:-
1. Will soft-modding let me play LEGAL Wii games from any region?
2. Will soft-modding let me play LEGAL Gamecube games from any region?
I'm especially interested in an answer to No. 2, since the bulk of my sizeable collection of Gamecube games are NTSC-U/C imports.
Thanks in advance.

I did buy the Freeloader disk when No More Heroes came out, but Nintendo were very quick with releasing firmware fixes to counter it. Dunno what the current state of play is mind you. Haven't fired up the Wii in over a year now.

Call me crazy, but what's the point of modding a Wii that's not being used to play pirated software? I don't really mess around with stuff.

To play legally bought games from different regions.

Is that really worth it?
