-Go click the bottom-right icon so that you bring up your messages.
-Click the bottom-left icon that allows you to create messages.
-Click the Address Book.
-Your friend code is on its cover, though it might flip to the first page of your regged friends, thus requiring a page flip back.
A bit more convoluted than it should be, I have to admit.

Hmm. Seems like the console has a number, not the mii - as this is my friend's console I guess it wouldn't be much use posting it. Or will my mii, living on his console, migrate?
Anyway, number is 5491 5601 2993 2929.
Edit: Also, I feel dumb, but how do you add people? The manual is probably stored in a closet somewhere and the Wii help isn't helping - when I click friends codes in the Mii channel, it says to add via the message board. WTF is the message board?

All friend code related stuff is handled in the Address Book. The same place you got the Wii's number.

Yes - all of the miis on a console that are set to "Mingle" will propagate through the friends list. And only there.

Speaking of Miingling(sorry, couldn't resist), will a Mii transfer to a Wii on the creator's friends list, then on that Wii, go on to another Wii that ISN'T on the original Wii's friends list, but is on the friends list of the Wii that the original Wii has in its friends list?
I bet I said that in a confusing manner...let's make it a bit clearer.
A-B-C
Each letter represents a Wii, and the dashes represent friend links. A has B as a friend, not C. B has both as friends. C has B marked as a friend, but not A.
So, if a Mii is created on A and set to mingle, will it go to B, and then C? Or just B?
