Yeah, my brother bought it and I beat it a little while ago. It is one of my most favouritest Wii games now. If you've played Killer 7 No More Heroes falls victim to the same problem in that there isn't much gameplay variety, so the game gets repetitive. The city sucks, and having to repeat missions when you fail blows, but whenever I get to kill somebody I have fun. There is nothing like blowing somebody's head off with a explosion of blood and lightsabre. Travis Touchdown is also an awesome character. He's some sort of nerdy bizarre killer who oozes lame charisma. The story doesn't try to be as heady as Killer 7's did, but the story is dedicated to being weird fun, and it succeeds.
I wouldn't write down No More Heroes as a game that everybody should buy because it has problems that could easily overshadow any of its accomplishments for some people. I would write it down as a rental though, because there is a chance you could love it.

Killer7 was great but I have no idea what was going on, maybe you need some knowledge on japanese culture, as much as I like Spirited away and princess monomoke some parts are pretty ehhhhhhhh :confused:
No more heroes still hasn't been released here, hoping we are getting the uncensored version after all these blood fountains look awesome.

I don't think it's the uncensored version so much as the enhanced-gore version. He actually added more blood to the American edition, because we North Americans just can't get enough of it!

I guess I'm just not a Suda fan. Killer 7 was weird and unsatisfying for me, and No More Heroes didn't hold my interest at all.

That's what I thought untill I beat it, then I realised I actually loved it. It has this unnerving disjointed half asleep/awake thingie you just can't hold on to, it's weirdness is very cold and extremily disturbing. In the first level this woman gets her legs blown of but at first you think she's having an orgasm, don't know why it got to me but it did, great stuff. Great music fantastic art and most of all something entirily different, one of my favorite titles.
