Hello, do you know some good recipes of home-made healing potions? Maybe a better description would be energy-potion, something that gives us energy and strength or even immunity when winter season comes.
Recently I found this recipe:
root of ginger
1 lemon
honey
Peel the ginger and chop it with shredder. Juice the lemon and put some spoons of honey. Then mix all ingredients. Use: 1 spoon in the cup of tea or coffee.
You can keep it in the small nice cruet in the fridge.
Hm, I did it today and the taste is not bad, very strong though.
More recipes? :) Step by step maybe we could find out the composition of “real” healing potion :D

I'm not so sure about a healing potion, but I think i may have found how to make a speed potion:
Most of these amounts are completely arbitrary, just make sure they're in the "quantities" listed.
2 parts Guarana
1 part Mate
1 part Tea of your choice (non decaf)
3 parts Sugar
3 "extra strength" Caffeine pills (200mg caffeine each)
2 Foosh Energy Mints
Place the Guarana, Mate, and tea into a pot of boiling water and let boil for 5-10 minutes. Strain off liquid into separate container and mix in remaining ingredients well. Let sit in refrigerator until it forms a syrupy substance. Mix syrup into hot drink of your choice.
According to this, you get 700+mgs of caffeine total in your "syrup". Combined with the natural caffeine found in the tea, mate, and guarana, this should provide a copious boost in the caffeine content of any drink. Be careful, however, the less water you use, the more concentrated it becomes.
If I'm not mistaken, you can find the first 2 ingredients in near any health food store, you can get sugar damn near anywhere, and the Pills and Mints you can find online. Should be fairly cheap, and rather potent. :thumb:

2 parts Blue Curacao
1 part vodka
1 part honey
3/4 part lemon juice
Shake with ice, and add the honey last after microwaving it for better mixing.
Makes me feel better anyway. :cheeky:

The juice of half a lemon
A tablespoon of honey
A tablespoon (or two) of whiskey
Hot water to top up.
Hot Toddy at it's best.

1 Cup vodka
2 Cups vodka
1 1/2 tablespoons vodka
3 oz vodka
Mix in a glass. Add a shot of vodka, then refrigerate for one hour.
Retrieve glass and add vodka to taste. :D

Besides, I work better when I'm drunk. If I see a bad guy...

Not sure how this is going to help gaping sword/mace/hammer wounds.

Slow-fall potion:
You will need -
Some water
A very large canister of helium
An industrial carbonizer
Simply pressurize the helium into the water. You will now be as light as a feather. And squeaky. Until you burp. :weird:

...I'll just point my sword at him, and saaaay! Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here!
Actually at many gas stations / general stores around here they sell the real life equivalent of a health potion. It comes in a little flask, and is called 5-Hour Energy.

Or you can go to your local Wallgreens and blow $3 US on a huge ass can of Jolt.
