Strange the health shield is not being displayed on the screen, but if i load other missions it will display. What's wrong? too much information in my mission?

Did you customize the health shields in your mission?

Make sure the starting point has been set up correctly (links, scripts etc).

i did compared the starting point setting to a previous save project, and all looks the same, the previous saved project shows the health shields, and my current saved project the health shields don't appear.
Yes Russ i've been using a customized health shield since a long time for this project and its been working well.

I atill don't understand what's wrong, i try using the typical thief 2 health shield and yet nothing, i compared the starting point settings and all looks to be the same. I guess players will have to play without health shield.

if you have been using customized health shields, then go back and look at how you did it. What is now missing?

like i said, i´ve try using the normal thief 2 health shields and it doesn't work on my last saved project, but if i load previous saved project and other missions the health shields will be displayed on the screen.

A health shield is an object, so it has a bin file and one or more textures. Look in your obj folder for shield2.bin and delete or rename it. Most people just replace the texture, so look in obj\txt16 for shield.gif (or .png or .dds) and delete/rename that.
Another thing to consider is that the shields' files are being read from another location. NewDark supports extra folders for mods, which could overwrite things. Have a look in your copy of cam_mod.ini. Have a look for mod_path and see if any folders are specified. If so, look in those folders for the health shield file(s). The same goes for uber_mod_path.
This is less likely but still worth investigating:
Could you have set the quest var "HIDE_UI_ELEMENTS" and then forgotten about it? Look at Editors > Mission Quest Data. If the variable is in the list you'll need to delete it or change the value to 0.

Custom dark.cfg?
Run complete processing and post the monolog.

Robin its what i said before, the problem is not in the obj folder, i have no object called shield2.bin and when i load other missions with dromed the shield appears, my custom health shield or the original thief 2 health shield. So the problem is not inside the object folder. I've never set a quest var "Hide_ui_elements" i went to mission quest data and all looks well:" DrSSecrets 0"
