Other players may have different impressions about Health Stations in the game, but I've gotten to the point where I smash apart a Health Station on sight.
They seem to have more cons than pros. They cost money to heal, enemies can use them, and they're an inconvenience to locate when you're wounded in the heat of battle.
That's why I just smash them apart for a free First Aid Kit or two, since First Aid Kits are always readily available when you have them.
Anyway that's my fiftieth of a dollar.
