I sympathize Dia. In 'olden' days it was Britain that was rampaging through the world telling everyone what to do and how to do it. Now it's your country. Maybe in a few years it'll be China. At the moment, what the US does, and the UK to a lesser extent, has a monumental effect on the rest of the world. It's just the way it is. The bashing will go on until such time as the US fades into insignificance - and I can't see that happening, at least not in my lifetime.
In the meantime, you've got to have something to rant and rave about. Your country just makes a change from ranting and raving about my damn awful country. :)
Except the NHS, of course, which is marvellous.

I am sure the Palestinians are weary of the illegal US-funded military incursion into their homeland by those who don't even live there. Many of them are also wary of the fact that the people who vote in the US wouldn't know about this involved their own citizens. Oh wait it does.

I used to write long history lessons about how Israel would be wiped off the map if not for US funding but then I understood that's what folks like Vernon want. Plus Israel has worn out my empathy with settlements and stalling forever so what the hell, kill em all.

Only some of those lanes lead to a dark and evil place, and I applaud much of the citizenry in your country for the valiant outcry against blood for oil and imperialistic aggression in the name of false gods.

I was being somewhat facetious in my post, but I don't really know how you could extrapolate that idea. I wouldn't want Israel wiped off the face of the map. Nor would a lot of Palestinians. I personally agree with Abdullah's Plan - complete withdrawal to 1948 borders. All of this is pie-in-the-sky anyway. Palestine is... so far gone. The Russian recognition was a small glimmer of hope but there hasn't been much else since the PLO were caught bare-faced with the Al Jazeera leak. Just some farmers and their donkeys getting bombed by fighter jets.
Anyway, I was just being an ass as per usual. Just wanted to pull you up for trying to make me out as some kind of nuke Israel kind of guy. :p
