The username "Quintus" was taken, so you can call me Quinty or QD instead. I'm Quintus Descendant, a lurker for a while now on these forums, and a Thief fan who doesn't have the software to play anymore. :( I'm interested in fan missions, having watched some playthroughs on YouTube, and more than impressed with what the modding community has come up with. Perhaps it shows how full of rubbish I am at the editor, but I was blown away by the fact some people have been able to replace entire loading screens.
Though I don't play anymore, I would love to write the script for a fan mission. I've had a few ideas I've always wanted to turn into playables, but I lack the know-how to do so.
Hi TTLG!

Welcome. :D
I think it'd be a good idea to write some scripts. Maybe you could find someone to help build it, or maybe you could even upload them like a kind of fan fiction. Nothing beats being able to build your own stuff though. It's worth learning.

Hello there, taffer!
Yeah, you'll need the games before you can run the FMs or use the editors, and it's all well worth it!

Vae: It's not that I can't get my hands on the games, but rather, the software I now have is too updated to run such old games. I may be able to run T:DS, though, and the downloadable editor it comes with.
Demagogue: Thank you for the encouragement. ^^ I may upload a little Thief fanfiction here, if I can find any of my writings. Most of my scripts are still in my head, as I'm not sure really what to write right now. I'd still love the chance to write for an FM if it was pitched to me, however.
Jtr7: I would absolutely love to, but I've tried, and it hasn't been one of my best talents. I could try again, however.
