I have been using the video guides by ejsmith but I have been having trouble in this missions man I hate the levels where you have follow someone I hated that part of assassins in Thief Gold. Its hard to follow a walkthrough for this kind of level because some times it doenst go the same way has the video and I dont have the time to improvise.I admit I am a newb and I am not good at stealth games yet I still enjoy them.I know I have asked this question before but I never got an answer can you reccomend a walkthrough because all the walkthrough I have found dont make sense or they follow ghosting which I dont do or care about. Please be nice and help out a newb in need because at one point we were all newbs.

Three threads, now? WTF?
Let me guess (since you didn't state what help you needed, just asked AGAIN for walkthroughs that DON'T EXIST)...you aren't following the letter, you're following Lt. Mosley. If so, watch where she drops the letter, let her leave--you don't have to follow her after she drops the letter--go read the letter, drop it where you found it, and wait for her contact to come get it, then follow him. I hope you are not using up your equipment, either. You'll need it for the next mission, 'cause you aren't going to the store.
Everything you've been told about walkthroughs STILL applies and I don't know how you can think a walkthrough just for you will suddenly be written and linked for you. Stop blaming the community and forum members for your problems.
Are you expecting a walkthrough author to break down all the random possibilities for you?

To explain it in simple words for your simple mind:
A walkthrough is a single view done with a single path in mind and a single goal.
If the walkthrough is EXPERT then it is entirely different than if it is NORMAL (using thief difficulty levels as an example).
Every walkthrough for the same mission, done by different people will be DIFFERENT. NO TWO WILL BE THE SAME.
jtr7 is absolutely correct. You don't listen, *or read and comprehend*. You don't want to learn. You think that the idea is to whip through the mission/game as fast as possible, and that there is a magic fix for every problem.
Actually there is a fix. LEARN TO USE THE TOOLS GARRETT HAS. LEARN TO SNEAK. LEARN TO WAIT, WATCH, LISTEN.
DO THIS UNTIL YOU UNDERSTAND HOW THE GAME WORKS IN RELATION TO GARRETT AND THE WORLD OF GARRETT.
And stop acting like a 3 year old who needs his diaper changed. Learn to play the game. Forget winning/losing or anything in between. LEARN TO PLAY THE DAMN GAME.

I understand you guys are getting a bit frustrated but let's try not to be TOO nasty, okay? You can always choose just to ignore a question that annoys you.

My problem is that I have noticed thsat sometimes people are arriving way to soon. For example, you know the female pedestrian with the purse before the market well there will be times she is already walking down the street before mosley even makes the turn and I wasnt caught so she didn't stop for any period of time same thing or sometimes even the opposite with the pedestrian in the market then while waiting mosley gets to far.The reason I was asking about a walkthrough is because I like to use one in my first run I am playing the game but lossing and getting killed is only enjoyable so often. That and is it so bad to be a tad bit annoyed that almost every walkthrough assumes your doing ghosting can you offer any advice for getting used to the one on the keepers chapel because its a very different style from the one I used for theif gold.Which I have played, beaten and throughly enjoyed. That and one cant exactly go slow in a mission where one needs to keep up with someone while still not getting caught and getting some loot along the way.

Opps I dont mean ghosting I meant lytha style which still something which doenst matter to me because thats what not what I am doing I am just playing the game has in I dont care If I blackjack a guard which most guides for some odd reason assume you doing that. Was I the only one to chuckle when they heard karras's voice.

You are having trouble with timing. You DON'T need a walkthrough. Use your QS save when you get to an area you think will be tricky. If you blow it and end up dead because you got caught, just reload the Quick save, and be more careful.
Actually, later in this mission, if you are skilled enough and pay attention, you can be right on the tail (a few feet behind) and walk right through town behind the person you are following.
You don't need a walkthrough. You need to develop PATIENCE and listen, look, and think it through before you act.
In the first part, if you stay a few yards behind Mosley, stay in the shadows, and don't rush you can follow her through town past the guards etc.
But as jtr7 says. YOU ARE NOT FOLLOWING MOSLEY. YOU ARE FOLLOWING THE LETTER. MOSLEY has it to start but keep your eye on the letter not the COURIER.

Thanks for the help,I just thought to myself,If did baffords manor again using the guide and your advice and it worked I love quicksave.Hopefully now I wont have to many issues from now on.But now I feel like an idiot but thats okay because if one never fails one never learns to overcome that failure.

Thanks for replying. We really aren't trying to give you a hard time. We are trying to get you to think before you act, and realize that this game doesn't beat you.
You defeat yourself by trying to rush through. If you take your time, listen to the sounds, watch from the shadows before you dash out, and read every scrap of paper you find, as well as search every inch of every room or space you enter, you can breeze through without a walkthrough (which as has been mentioned, cannot and will not suit every circumstance) you can have a hell of a good time, and survive.
