and not in the way you think.
I'm stuck literally...between the bed and the wall in the keeper library.
I notice there is no clipping code to toggle clipping.
But is there a way to edit to save game file to change my position?
This is my main game save plus my quick save...and I hit the wrong key so it's either start over, or fix this
:(
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Do you have the editor installed? The only solution I can think of would be to enter your saved game in the editor and toggle "g" to turn Garretts head into a floating camera, move away from the bed and wall and press"g" again to make his body rematerialize under his head. I've never tried loading a saved game from within the editor, but I think it should work. Other than that, I think you're between a bed and a hard place!

Caught between a bed and a hard place... if it was anything other than Thief, it'd be fun!

My advice to keep from getting stuck continually:
Quickly uninstall T: DS and go to My Computer>Progams>Games>Thief:The Dark Project> and double click on thief.exe. Make sure you have the correct disc in the drive. :)

I'll have to give it a try..
Also, I did some messing around by moving a bit and then saving after each move.
I snooped around the save game files, performed some diffs, and I may have found the area in the file where the location data is saved.
hopefully I can find it.

Great! :thumb: Thanks for being my test case, too! :cheeky: I hadn't gotten around to testing it, yet, but it seemed reasonable.

To give the specifics, all I really did was run the debug version of the game executable, loaded my save game, hit the 'g' key, moved to the middle of the room, hit the 'g' key again, and saved.
Then I tried it in the regular game and I was in good shape.

So I'm in a similar situation and simply want to no-clip my way out of a "dead end" - from a mission design over site. I'm one of those quick save only type of people and I am two hours into this mission and DO NOT want to start over.
Could someone please post more specific directions to the above solution. I have no idea want "enter debug mode" means.
Thanks in Advance - Shawn
