By accident, I've just changed something important in the game's system directory, and after spending the whole day trying to fix it, I've uninstalled the game, hoping to reinstall it and have the problem fixed. However, it turns out the uninstalling also deleted all my save games!! It would be impossible for me to play it from the beginning - I was just about to enter the Cradle (no spoilers, please), and judging by the flow of the story, it's about the end of the game. It will take me ages to return to the point where my last save was.
Is there any code or cheat somewhere which can get me back to where I was? I just need to automatically pass every mission...once I get to Auldale I can spend an hour or two pickpocketing in order to get back enough equipment.
Can somebody help me?

I would have said that you could always try to recover the deleted files, using data recovery software, but recovered files usually end up being currupted! Which makes these programs useless! :p

I misspoke. Don't start over again! Consider this a sign from above. Put the game away and enjoy its predecessors instead. It is not too late. You can still forget what you have thus far seen, and remain unsullied! I implore thee!!
