Sometimes when some of us gamers get tired changing CD's from one CD to another we come upon what appears to be a great idea, like making virtual images of our favorite CD games so to spare us the changing out cd's when we tire of one game and wish to play another.
Unfortuantely these virtual ideas get to be more trouble than they're worth. I found that out this past week when I played around with one such virtual program. I became disappointed with it and uninstalled it thinking I would have my system back to what it was before. Not quite.
To make a long story short, my CDDVD drive will not recognize my T2 CD now and I wonder if there is anyone who can help me get it back to recognizing T2 so I can play it again.
Thanks for any ideas.

This doesn't really seem Thief-specific? Maybe try the tech/troubleshooting forum. Or have you tried a great many CDs, and it is literally only your T2 CD that is not recognised? (that would be weird).
For starters you might try reinstalling the virtual CD application.
What was it?
