Does anyone know how or where to download or save Thief cutscenes. Or, how to record bits of Thief off the actual CD?? :confused:

If you'd bother looking in the Thief install directory, you'll see every cutscene as a bog-standard AVI.

As ZylonBane said, the movies are just avi files that are either in your Thief installation directory (under MOVIES) or on the CD.

If you mean recording actual game play as a video you can watch later, you may use a freely downloadable program called Fraps ((http://www.fraps.com/)).

If you are talking about Thief media, like sounds, and textures, etc., this stuff should have been put on your harddrive during the install. A good tool to use to browse all Thief media is Thief media edit, get it here: (http://www.thief-thecircle.com/download.asp?fid=621) (from this page (http://www.thief-thecircle.com/dromed/tools.asp)).

I've been on the MOVIE file in the Thief directory. The only movies in there are DEATH and SUCCESS?:erm:
