And now you've learned why you should always do a full install.

Then they are on your CD. Look for a MOVIES folder there.

I did do a full installation. But then I couldn't even watch the cutscenes while playing the game. So I did that V1.33 patch thingy. I still cant. And what do you mean by they are on the CD??

And the MOVIES file is still the same. ' DEATH and SUCCESS '.

What do you mean ' They are on the CD '??. O and the cutscenes still don't work, despite the V1.33. Help?:(

Put the Thief CD in your drive, and take a look at the contents of it in Windows Explorer (if the Thief install screen comes up when you doubleclick on the CD drive, then instead right-click on the drive and choose "open"). You will see a folder on the CD called THIEF: in that folder is another folder called MOVIES, which contains all the movie files for the game.
As for the movies not playing now when you start the game, please read the FAQ entry here for instructions on how to get them working again. One of the ways to do so is to find the file "iv5play.exe" on your Thief CD and run it.
