Okay, I'm stumped. I've ben playing the damn Cathedral level for hours and I can't work it out.
I can't figure out what the hell to do with the Watchman's grave. There's a little dish on it that lights up, and I think I have to put something in it, but what?
Also, I found that secret where you fire an arrow at the drawbridge buttons and climb onto the bridge as it's rising. I get to a big mansion with an undead Hammerite aimlessly wandering around. I've smote him and looted the place, but what do those two levers do? Also, how the hell do you get back out? The wall's too high to mantle and there's nowhere to shoot a rope arrow into.

What skill level are you playing on? The receptacle at the Watchman's grave only serve a purpose on expert. As for the switches in the ancient house, I believe all they do is turn lights on and off.
Is this your first play-through of the game?
You sound like you're doing very well.
Take you're time and enjoy it thoroughly.

Back off and take a running jump. You can mantle back up.
There are a number of places in the game where you need a running start and a jump to mantle. This just happens to be the first such.
Also you can just have the bridge already in the up position and mantle on the wall next to it, climb to the next level and walk across the bridge and the wall top to jump into the door.
You should be able to retrace your steps to get back out. The wall can be mantled. Try doing a running jump.
heh, my first time through I thought the only way up to that door was by lowering the bridge, going across the stream, shooting the button to *raise* the bridge with a broadhead, then quickly jumping onto the rising bridge and, with some keyboard-mashing, jumping to the top of the wall.
It takes a few tries. :cheeky:

That's what I did! I figured it was a secret and that was the only way up. Got it first try and then what did I do? I friggin fell off by accident, didn't I, and it took me another three or four goes to get back up.
That running jump&mantle trick takes a bit of practice to get right, but I got it in the end.
Thanks for the tips everyone.

Well, they don't do a thing as far as I can tell. Maybe I need to find the power switch for that part of town, but it hardly seems worth it.

Yup. On the Lost City now, where the floating fireballs are giving me grief. Take a water arrow up the clacker, you blazing taffers!

The Grave was the easy part. Damn I almost threw the screen out of the table when searching for Torch and the classy missing loot...
