S P O I L E R S
I'm playing excellent FM ‘Raid on Washout Central' on expert now . I've completed all objectives except ‘Find Lord Percival's Gem Collection'. And here are my questions:
A) There's drowned body in the sewers. And there's a closed chest next to the body. How can I open it? Lockpicking does not work and it seems I have no proper key.
B) Close to the brick factory there are two brick ‘gates' (strange corridors above the ground). On the other side of them I found strange stone with inscription: ‘The third red star rises in th [?] South Est'. What does it mean? Is that somehow connected with my next question?
C) In gambling den I came up against bathroom-like room with safe-like combination machine (sorry for my English!). I can change numbers using floor plates and confirm combination pushing the button in the bath. But what is the right combination and what does it open? In Post Office I found strange letter with numbers 1423 and some incomprehensible (for me?) words. Is that the combination? I tried that but it did not work...
D) I opened Jakku's storagebox in the vault. But can other boxes be opened either?
E) Where's Lord Percival mansion? (Is that the gambling den??)
F) What's 'Golden Bone' (skull found in Post Office) for?
G) And finally: how can I get the gem collection? (Maybe the answer for that question is contained in answer for question A or C?)
I'll keep on searching... But any help (Nightwalker?!) would be appreciated.
The City in rain looks WONDERFUL!
(Sorry, I couldn't abstain from saying that)

OK, I've finished 'RoWC' and completed all (two) optional objectives.
But still there are some things I would like to know:
A) Can drowned chest be opened?
B) Close to the brick factory there are two brick ‘gates' (strange corridors above the ground). On the other side of them I found strange stone with inscription: ‘The third red star rises in th [?] South Est'. What does it mean? Is that somehow connected with my next question?
C) In gambling den I came up against bathroom-like room with safe-like combination machine (sorry for my English!). I can change numbers using floor plates and confirm combination pushing the button in the bath. But what is the right combination? In Post Office I found strange letter with numbers 1423 and some incomprehensible (for me?) words. Is that the combination? I tried that but it did not work...
D) What's 'Golden Bone' (skull found in Post Office) for?

It's been more than six months since I played this, but I'll try to help.
A) The chest can definitely be opened. I don't think it's a key, though. IIRC, it has a pickable lock.
B) There are four such clues, scattered about the level. This is just an alternate way of solving the puzzle in Percival's house, instead of using combination '1423'. You would push the buttons around the basin according to compass directions, which would be the same as entering 1423.
C) 1423 is the right combination. Look up, and there should be a little button high above the basin. Hit it with an arrow, and a small lift will come down.
D) I never found any purpose for the Golden Bone. I think it's what we call in English a 'red herring' -- an irrelevant fact or item.

I just finished playing this on Expert, and NoCokePepsi has a good memory.
Spoiler:
You can pick the chest open. It contains Lord Percival's jewel collection and the dead man floating beside it is the butler who stole them from him. You can't hear any sounds when you pick the chest, so you just have to keep switching picks and trying the chest to see if it opens.

Thanks, Nightwalker. :)
I disparaged my memory in Sharga's thread about Death of Garrett because I was comparing it to yours, which seems to be exceptional. Mine's probably average or maybe a little better than average. I do have a good memory for numbers, though.

Please HELP!! I have been running around for about two hours now.. I need a nudge in the right direction I have done everything except figure out where the device is to align the red stars.. so I can open the door.. If it matters I am playing the normal level on T2.
I am not looking for the code or a spoiler... just the general area that I should look in!!
Thank you!

You don't need to bother with the red stars. Look up at the ceiling.

Thanks Nightwalker... Your mean the ceiling of the doorway right (where the sign is)? I've looked and do not see anything... Am I in the right place?

I hope we're talking about the same place. Are you in the gambling spot trying to find the jewels? If you are, then you need to look at the ceiling over top of the pond or tub or whatever that thing is. If that's not where you are, then I need more detail.
