Haven't seen a gambling spot yet... I am outside by the door with a plaque that says the door will only open once the the red stars have been aligned... there is a small wooden bridge and a fountain with an iron hammer... if you go over the bridge and up pass the columns to the right you will run into the water tower and the wooden guard station.

I went back and got the exact message of the sign by the door. It says: "When the red stars are in sequence the gate will be opened"
Any ideas?

You don't use that there. Those "star" clues are to help figure out the puzzle I mentioned above,(which is inside Lord Percival's house) but you don't really need to collect them all, as I said, because the alternate way is easier. Have you already gotten into Jakku's house and into the bank vault? If you have, then you probably need to look for a way into Lord Percival's house(the gambling house). It's marked on the map.

Thanks alot for ALL you help!! <img src="graemlins/thumb.gif" border="0" alt="[Thumbs Up!]" /> I was running around and found an area I hadn't been.. low and behold it was the gambiling area.. I found everything I needed and now can finish the game.. I got hung up on the optional part of the game so I had too make sure I did not go back to the house.. otherwise the mission would end.

I keep following him home and he never gets mugged!
He just drops the dumb key to his house!

As for Jakku, I don't think you always get the same thing happening to him. He gets mugged on Expert, usually, when I play it, but I believe there are some variables built into this. I don't know for sure though. You'd have to ask belboz. <img src="smile.gif" border="0">
Don't give up on the mission, though, because it's really very good.

the mugging depends on which route jakku takes, but it basically results is 66% of him getting mugged, 33% not getting mugged, 1% of walking through the mugging area and not getting mugged.
