Valet2 on 28/12/2003 at 21:52
Maybe I'm too anoying? Look at YOUR number of posts, Averroes!
rachel on 28/12/2003 at 22:29
I don't have any problem with the number of posts. I don't care about that.
It's just that you could have edited your firt post to include all the information you posted, thus avoiding to make three posts in a row.
Incidentally, I have way (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=10253) more posts than that. :cheeky:

Who are you? Moderator? Administrator? If you anger on my three posts in a row, just IGNORE this! It will show that you're brought up person.

It's common forum courtesy to edit posts instead of repeatedly posting over and over, several times in a row. Simply change the first one instead of creating a slew of new ones. It's not specifically an attack on you, just informing you of the way thing generally work here. Some people just happen to be very blunt about it.

I will anger on your three posts in a row, Valet2.
Do not do that. If you need to add to your post, and no one has replied in the meantime, the acceptable thing to do is to use the edit button and, if necessary, comment that the addition was made and then add the new stuff to the old post.
For the record, using the argument "Are you a moderator? Then shut up!" is not only incredibly rude, it serves only to do two things: It diminishes your standing in what is essentially a community run by common consent, and it will magically summon a moderator or administrator to tell you off.
Here is the small version for people who demand crystalline clarity in thier lives:
USE THE EDIT BUTTON TO APPEND FRESH THOUGHTS TO A POST INSTEAD OF POSTING SEVERAL POSTS IN A ROW.
