With all the HoMM titles I've played so far, I loved them intensely for a couple of weeks and then dropped them completely. Same with Civilization. They're all games I want to get back to when I have more time, though.

King's Bounty is an *excellent* game in the same vein of HOMM, for those of you suffering from withdrawal syndrome. ;)

Why would I give a damn about HOMM?
[Edit]Especially when it's for PS3 and 360, lol.

I guess they thought about covering more gaming systems. The way I've heard, people didn't really like HoMM 5 for one reason or another. Most of the old fans just stuck with H3 or H4 even though H5. Me, I just found it a bit more boring. They did do some interesting stuff with those addons, but meh.
Maybe it'll be a spin-off like Dark Messiah, just like the article says since I really can't see someone playing Heroes on a console. (not that it wouldn't be possible, just weird)

Probably a spin off/ rebranding, with a slight possibility for a pseudo return to the original 'Might and Magic' RPGs. HoMM's gameplay is quintessentially PC, though it might work OK on portables.
