Are you in Nepal, India, or Bhutan? Maybe you could get Tenzin Gyatso into playing Thief, I bet he'd love it!
I think after several posts you can do attachments, maybe someone will clarify. You can also put something on Google Drive, Dropbox, etc and link it in your posts for now.
> Thus, I am a great fan of "Move Over Boomer."
I'm 72, saw the Grateful Dead the night they got busted on Bourbon Street. Worst generation probably in the history of humanity imho, that had every chance starting in the 1960s to co-create a peaceful, viable, equitable global situation decades ago instead of the game-ending prospects you mentioned.
The Builder's Paradise, Home Sweet Home, and Raven Creek are other fairly recent great FMs.
Namaste and Tashi Delek!

Nice to hear about Thief being a positive part of someone's life. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your family over the years. But I just wanted to offer my perspective that I feel very optimistic about the future, I'm not worried at all about my kid's lifetimes or their kids, because by most measures the world is overall getting better and better. For example, in this TED Talk video, Steven Pinker discusses many measurements that help put things in historical perspective:

There are many amazing missions you can catch up on that I'm so excited for you :D.
As stated before, anything from either of the anniversary contests is absolutely worth a look. They each contain some of my favorite missions of all time.
Any missions released by Korthak or Dirkbogan are definitely worth a look as well.
Les Paolis is a gift of excellence from one of our favorite authors Cardia1 (Pedro Quintela) that should definitely not be missed. Can you believe its like his 20th mission, man is a work horse !
The Sister by Beltzer is another mission that, while certainly rough around the edges, has its charm and is a joy to play. Reminds me of having a fun night with my friends drinking and playing games.
Lastly, Looser (Actually its LOSER now that I look at it) by Stringgod is unique for its humor alone. I can't quite count how many times this one made me LOL out loud. And as a bonus, I think you would find enjoyment in how it riffs on a certain someone and their many faults and STILL manages to be a fun and engaging map to boot. I for one appreciated the great commentary on war, climate disaster and rising fascism prevalent during the time period of its release!

I am 47 years old and still proud to say that my streak of completing at least 1 T1/G and 1 T2 FM a month since April 2012 is still going strong. I'm not ashamed to say that original games and FM's have helped me beyond belief through some of the darkest times of my life. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of the authors and community. There are too many awesome missions that have come out in the last 5 years to list. Keep on taffing!

Young people on TTLG does not compute, the average member age must be 40+ by now.
I'm 25, so everyone might not be as old as you think. ;D Thief is timeless after all!

I did say the average age.

I'm 46 and originally played Thief with my niece when she was 5 or 6...now I play with my son who is 5....
He loves Garrett and enjoys seeing different places/guards/situations....His current favorite is when Garrett can't sleep due to the windchims. Simple enough for him to play and no scary bits. YES!!
