I don't imagine winning would have made much difference, having lived through the hockey riots in Edmonton during the Oilers' dynasty. Vancouver all seemed rather predictable. I don't suppose putting up enormous TV screens and encouraging vast crowds to gather in the heart of the financial and shopping district, had anything to do with it.
Anyway, let's hope that nobody gets killed.
BTW, congratulations to the Bruins for their decisive win and the end of their 39 year drought. They deserved the Stanley Cup. And congrats to the Canucks for their best season in perhaps forever, at least stats wise.

To be fair this was going to happen even if Vancouver won.
Regardless, that game sucked. It was like the Canucks came out and decided to do their best to repeat game 6.
