I clicked on the Mystery Man thread still here, and found you and me, Nightwalker, in the first page! I was unmemorable, don't blame you. Used to beta-test some Thief FMs though, I remember talking with you some.

I've been away and back and away and back off and on over the past couple of decades myself. Except for a few brief returns in the late 2000's, maybe once again around 2012 & 2016, I'd say less than a handful until about the end of 2022.. so if there's any updating to be had, I wanna be a part of it as well! :D
We have had a few notable returns recently, but for the life of me I can only remember one of them: gumdrop. He was gone about as long as you, I think, but recently resurfaced.

Hey. Sorry for looking like I'm in and out. Family stuff last couple weeks.
Update on everything Thief FM related, generally, please! I'm well aware that's obnoxious, and apologize. How should I be doing it, etc.?
Right now I have a Darkloaderv4.3, with a bunch of Thief 2 FMs. Including yours, HD, ha: Escape from Blackstone Crypt. I thought it was good enough to re-play in the last 9 years, apparently.
The Rose Cottage is the last one I've played, still loaded. Masterpiece.
Think I was having trouble playing Thief 1, since all of these are 2. Anyways. Thanks for responses already, and further. What should I be doing?

Check out AngelLoader, its a really well done launcher for Thief 1,2,3 and SS2 fan missions :D
Other than that, theres a bazzilion new missions since you last played!

S.I., if you have trouble playing FMs for Thief 1 (or Thief Gold) with DarkLoader, you might be better off with any of the newer loaders that came up with NewDark, such as AngelLoader, FM-Selector and NewDarkLoader. The old DarkLoader is unable to identify Thief 1 fan missions made with NewDark, and thinks these are Thief 2 missions. There is a way to manually tell DarkLoader that a mission is in fact for Thief 1 instead, but this is a somewhat tedious process.
There are other good reasons for not using DarkLoader with NewDark anymore, but in your case, this reason might be the most important one.

Hot damn, 20 years!
I myself tend to go away from a year to the next, I love and enjoy Thief but sometimes I just wanna enjoy it when it's the right time, like during winter in the cold and with some beautiful rain, it REALLY sets the mood.
You should check out my threads, I've asked for specific type of missions (including beginner-made and the like) which hopefully will be up your alley as well.
