Hrm... it looks like my Anox screenies weren't included in the transfer to my latest computer machine. Worse, the scanner I used to try to scan the CD art for Anox isn't very good, it uses some horrible dithering algorithm to approximate 32 bit color. I wouldn't consider the result to be usable.
Sorry ryanpotter, I think you'll have better luck seeking images from the web.

its alright, I made a mock up of a cover that I may be able to use. It's not the original but it's looking cool. Due too work though, I will be awhile in making it up.

Hey everyone, I am just putting a call out for all and any high res scans from older PC games. I prefer 300 - 600 dpi but like I said anything at a decent res would be great.
Just send me a PM if you have anything o contribute.

I've got Anachronox with the box, manual, and strategy guide in near perfect condition (thanks to the big hearted kindness of a particular TTLG member). I can get a good scan of it for you here in a couple of days.

holy crap, that would be great. I will take anything I can get but if you can scan those in at 600dpi it would be incredible!

I'll have em scanned and ready to roll this weekend, or the soonest dudeguy lets me use his overly fancy scanner.
Also, do you want me to go higher than 600dpi? I think the scanner I'll be using can do up to 1600.

Out of curiosity, why did you add the "PC Game" headers and other logos? The main benefit of home-made covers is being able to leave all that stuff out, and just have nice artwork to look at, I've always thought. (The Ultima ones look very nice, btw :)

I used the template so that the spines have a uniform look on the shelf. The base template used the PC DVD logo listed 3 times, twice on the front and once on the spine. We changed that to PC games and kept the basic idea of the template.

I don't think higher then 600dpi is needed, I convert them too 300 after editing out artifacts and scratches, this way I can keep the quality fairly high. You get a great 1:1 print at 300dpi
