Hi Taffers,
I want to express to all of you that I haven't been around a lot here on the forum. Mostly just to look for answers or a quick reply to a thread.
I'm so sorry for that. Mostly perhaps for myself.
A lot has happenend in RL. My husband had a heavy burnout and last november he had a fall with lots of broken bones and braindamage.
Still, I replay every evening or night Thief Fanmissions. I just ended replaying Cataclysmic Revelations the Campaign and at the end I saw my own name at the credits as a betatester.
That was so funny, but it made me realise how fast time flies.
You all are still my second family!!!
It was my birthday last week and I was eager to see if I got a birthdaythread here, but for the first time, it was't.
That made me realise that I haven't been keeping up with the lot of you and for that I'm sorry!
So, I'll try to come here to this forum much more often.
Also, I'd like to go betatesting again. It keeps me sane right now.:cheeky:
I'll never leave you all. I've gotten friends here all over the world for more than 20 years now. That's special.

It also occurred to me that it's been 18 years since I lent my voice (rather poorly) to Ponterbee Station. Goodness, time flies when you don't think about it.

Always good to be around fellow Thief veterans, but keep your husband safe first, he needs you more than ever.
Get him to play some Thief Fan Missions to pass the time, I'd love that if I were him.

@ pwl: I hope for better times and I agree. Playing the Thief games is keeping me sane also. Now you go and make a new FM which I can betatest ... :ebil::joke::thumb:
@ Necrohowl: I tried for several years to get my husband to play the Thief games, but he is scared of the sudden explosion of guards in a mission. :nono::sly::D I gave up. Only some of my grandchildren also love the Thief games.
@ RGS66: Thank you and I'n proud to be a Dewdrop lover. I even made a doll looking like her. John9818 even build a Dewdrop factory in one of his Love Story missions and Nightshifter put up a picture of my teddybears in one of his missions. I'm very proud of this homour! I also got a large coffecup from LarryG for testing his large mission Finals at the Academy 29 times. Everyone on the forum was jealous :cheeky: and you can gues I'm very proud to have this cup send over to me from America. I think Nightshifter also got one for his work.
@ Bob_doe_nz: you did a great job back than! I love it when we all put in our strenghts to make a FM a great place to be in when we play it. And lets be honest, these fanmissions are greatly build with lots of love for the Thief game.

Why do you feel the need to apologise? We all have lives.
You have been an absolute stalwart here. I have benefitted from your advice on many occasion.
It's wonderful to know that we have all been brought closer together by 'just some computer game' (oops probably shouldn't have said that) and kept interested over several decades.
Long may it continue!
All the best to you and your family - and all those other taffers out there who are as mad as I am for playing the same thing for so many years.
