In the hidden airfield, after taking the elevator to the surface and doing some exploring, I found a cinder-block area with a chain-link fence door and some kind of generators inside giving off large lightning bolts. I know there are goodies in the crates, what's the best way to get them without getting zapped?

To the left is a control panel which turns off the arcs. I've never been able to do this without losing some health, so I save it until the end, when I know I'll be seeing a medbot soon.

Yeah, I saw the panel in there. So you're saying you can't avoid a couple of jolts before it gets shut off? Waiting till the end of the level sounds like a good plan. Thanks!

I personally prefer to shoot the crates first - there's plenty of 10mm ammo around and then pick up the goodies while moving really fast. That way I take less damage than I would disabling that generator. But then I never have upgraded "electronics" at that point.

I didn't even bother. I think at the time I was full of almost anything that was in the crates, so I decided to quickload back to my previous position at the entrance. I didn't think it was worth it at all.

Aaah, but then I'll take any risk for any weaponmod. And a clip-mod is always nice for my 10mm, especially this early in the game.
