Found this text in miss12\english\GOALS.STR:

text_9: "Leave the bodies hidden in the library where someone will find them."
"Fiction" is empty, so this task is supposed to appear directly in the game, isn't it? What should be done to complete it? I tried to move these bodies to the center of the library, on the upper floor, even in Gervasius's study — nothing happens. This task just doesn't appear.
Game version 1.18.

Yeah, I've always wondered if there was an "official" explanation for that, or if it was one of those unfinished aspects of that mission.

I think that may be the one where you have to read certain books in the library to learn about a couple that was killed by the ladys mad husband. When you read all the books and find the bodies, the objective appears and is ticked off.

Except that it doesn't happen. They aren't found and, like DJ Riff said, putting the bodies in different locations won't get it to trigger, either.
